Zulum tok say, “E no ever dey enough, dia is no way we fit provide food for millions of pipo for just one or two hours.

We decide to organize ourselves wey be di only way, we organize to make sure say di pipo wey di flood affect go camps, den we go carry help go give dem for di camps.

Otherwise, you know, many go die becos dem no go get food and oda tins wey dem need wen dem dey for line.” E tok.

Zulum tell BBC News say e dey worried about di news say some prisoners, including Boko Haram pipo, don bin escape afta di flood hit di prison.

“I dey worried but you also need to remember say Borno State Goment don start wetin we dey call Borno Model of Rehabilitation wey don make many Boko Haram members change dia ways.

“For di last two years, over 200,000 Boko Haram and dia families don change dia mind. And I feel say dis tin don give us better result to bring peace and stability come back for Borno State.”

Mr. Zulum also tok say di dam wey collapse no get maintenance for long time and di heavy rain wey fall dis year join add for di cause of im collapse.

“Wetin happun be say, di Federal Ministry of Water Resources suppose dey maintain di dams but dem no do am for long time. Dis na someting we need to put head togeda to do,” Zulum tok.

“But di most important tin na say dis year rain plenty well well, so di rain pass wetin di dam fit carry.”
