Di council say a total of 569,236 candidates sit for di Basic Education Certificate Education (BECE) for school, while di number of private candidates wey sit for di examination na 1,390.
“A total of 569,236 candidates, wey comprise of 282,703 males and 286,533 females from 19,505 schools, register for di school examination. Dis includes 59 candidates wit visual impairments, 263 wit hearing impairments, and 161 candidates wit oda special accommodations. Dem conduct di exam across 2,123 centres nationwide, wit 3,845 candidates reported as absent.”
