According to di EFCC prosecutor wey file di charges, Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), Emefiele bin allocate “foreign exchange wey reach di sum of $2.1 billion witout bids and e dey against di rights of Nigerians”.
One of di count charges be say im allocate “$291,945,785.59, witout bids, and e dey against di rights of Nigerians”.
For same similar offence, dem say im allocate di sum of $1,769,254,793.16 and $370,872,893.01 for separate time witout bids.
Dem say Emefiele co-defendant Henry bin commit offence wey include say im accept di sum of $110,000 from one agent on behalf of Emefiele as gifts say im allocate foreign exchange in dia favour.
EFCC say all di offences wey Emefiele bin allegedly commit wit im co-defendant dey against Section 73 of di 2011 Criminal Law of Lagos State.
Court no gree for Emefiele
Di two defendants Emefiele and Henry bin plead say dem no dey guilty of di charges wey EFCC sama dem.

Emefiele lawyer Abdulakeem Labi-Lawal bin plea bifor say make dem grant am bail till di time wey dem go determine di whole gbege for di cases, but court no gree.

For 2023, di federal goment bin charge Emefiele wit illegal possession of arms wey court say na offence wey dey contrary to Section 4 of di Firearms Act, Cap. F28 Laws of di Federation 2004, and punishable under Section 27 (1b) of di same Act.
Dem also claim say Emefiele violate Section 8 of di Firearms Act Cap F28 Laws of di Federation 2004 and punishable under Section 27 (1)(b)(il) of di same Act.
For same 2023, federal goment say Emefiele bin illegally buy 43 vehicles between 2018 and 2020 wey worth N1.2 billion.
Dem also accuse Emefiele say im award contract for di procurement of 37 Toyota Hilux Vehicles wey di worth enta N854 million, but e deny am.
