Di case na between Bankole Wellington wey dem know as Banky W from di Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Babajide Obanikoro from di All Progressives Congress (APC) and Thaddeus Attah from Labour Party (LP).

Di court affirm Thaddeus Attah of di Labour Party as winner of di Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat for House of Representatives.

Both Thaddues and Bank W no show for court.

Di judge rule say di petition tribunal dey wrong to order rerun sake of say some of di evidences and exhibits wey dem present for court no strong enough according to wetin di Electoral act 2022 tok.

Di judge add say some of di witnesses wey petitioners present no be pipo wey serve for di affected polling units.

On di mata say election no hold for some polling units, di judge tok say petitioners need to prove say election wey no hold truly affect di outcome of di results. E dismiss di issue.

Di electoral umpire bin declare LP candidate Attah as di winner of di election as e secure 24,075 votes, to defeat Bankole Wellington – wey pipo sabi as Banky W – of di Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wey score 18,666 votes and All Progressives Congress (APC) Ibrahim Obanikoro wey get 16,901 votes.

Following di outcome of di election, both di PDP and di APC candidates bin file petition to challenge di election result for di tribunal and di tribunal agree wit dem say election no hold for some polling units for Eti Osa local goment area.
