Dem do di award to take honour Komla Dumor, di presenter for BBC World News, wey die suddenly at age 41 for 2014.

Rubadiri na winner number 6 of di award, after Solomon Serwanjja, Waihiga Mwaura, Amina Yuguda, Didi Akinyelure and Nancy Kacungira. She na di second Kenyan to win am.
