Di death of one media personality for Kenya Jahmby Koikai dey cause serious reactions afta she battle a painful disease – Endometriosis – for a long time before she die.

According to tori, di reggae star wey also dey known as Fyah Mummah Jahmby bin die on 3 June for hospital.

She also dey known as MC Mary Njambi Koikai afta she begin her career for radio before switching to reggae music

Njambi Koikai campaign for di fight against Endometriosis wey sabi pipo say na a leading cause of infertility for women.

She bin dedicate her campaign to speak for women say make dem know say “period pain no dey normal.”

“Di silent killer pain wey need to dey declared as a national disaster na Endometriosis. Millions of young girls and women dey bleed to death silently and urgent action by goment dey required,” Jahmby bin write on March 2024, just months before her death.

Her death don cause reactions for Kenya.

Jahmby say she battle Endometriosis for ova 19 years.

Before she die, di reggae star bin narrate for May 2024 how she battle di disease for plenti years before dem even diagnose her.

Endometriosis na di sickness wey dey happen wen di endometrium wey suppose dey inside di uterus come dey wia e no suppose dey like on top di ovary, kidney or inside belle.

“I bin get a diagnosis afta 19 years of living in horrific pain. I no fit describe to you wetin I don go through because I no get words.”

“My teenage years dey brutal. My twenties- 30s no dey easy. Na very very expensive disease to treat and post-recovery even require a lot of care sake of various side-effects,” Jahmby share for her Instagram page for March 2024.

Six years ago, she reveal say she undergo a life-changing surgery sake of full-body disease and di disease don affect plenti place for her body.

“We no get idea say di disease don affect my heart, my back, my appendix (wey dem later remove), my teeth, my gums, my lungs and diaphragm, I bin dey diagnosed wit acute anaemia.”

Njambi Koikai say na until she reach di Center for Endometriosis Care for Atlanta before she sabi how far di disease don spread for her body and di kain damage wey e don cause up to her lungs.

“My eyesight dey affected and I bin need a new prescription.”

She say na becos say e take long before dem diagnose di disease for her body na im make am spread for every part of her body afta plenti surgeries.

She bin appeal to Kenya goment make dem take di issue serious before she die.

Di disease dey happun wen tissue wey dey similar to di lining of di womb go build up ontop oda organs wey include di ovaries or fallopian tubes.

Di tissue lining for di womb go dey build up and grow every month, and later break down and bleeding go happun.
