“We don dey hear prepare to resume since,” Dr Owolabi tell BBC Pidgin. “We no close di university by oursef, dia was memo from di National Universities Commissions, wey come from di federal goment, say make we close down school. Since dia was memo, di reopening must come from dem. Dem ask us to close down and dem must tell us to open.”

Also, Babcock University say dem don dey ready to resume but dem dey wait for specific date from di goment before dem open. “We dey wait for futher pronouncement from di goment” di tok tok person, Joshua Suleiman, tell BBC Pidgin.

E add say di school don abide by all di regulation of health authorities.

Covenant University tell BBC Pidgin say di management of di school dey do meeting today Friday, 4 September, 2020, to decide wen dem go reopen dia school to students again and say by tomorrow dem go know exactly wen dem go resume school. He add say di school don dey ready to resume.
