Omiyinka Olanrewaju popularly known as Baba Ijesha dey accused of sexual assault. Im plead say e no dey guilty of di charges against am.

One Ikeja court inside Lagos, Nigeria commercial capital, grant Baba Ijesha bail to di tune of two million Naira wit two sureties.

For di conditions wey di judge give am, Baba Ijesha must meet di bail conditions in seven days. Im must provide one lawyer, plus pesin wey dey stay for Lagos wey be im blood relation as im sureties.

Ogala tanda along with Dada Awosika SAN and Kayode plus odas .

In all, over 15 lawyers appear for Ijesha on Thursday morning.

Di prosecution na DPP, ministry of Justice dey lead di case for goment lawyers.

Afta plenty tok-tok, di court adjourn di case until di 26, 27 and 28 of July.

Baba Ijesha court trial: Actor Omiyinka Olanrewaju go face dis charges

Lagos Attorney General and Commissioner Moyosore Onigbanjo tok for statement say:

Police bin forward di case to di Directorate of Public Prosecutions [DPP] for legal advise.

DPP recommend Baba Ijesha to face five provisions of di 2015 Criminal Law of Lagos State.

Dis provisions include:

1. Section 135, Indecent Treatment of a child – wey dey punishable by 7 years imprisonment

2. Section 137, Defilement of a Child, wey dey punishable by life imprisonment

3. Section 261, Sexual Assault by Penetration – e dey punishable by life imprisonment

4. Section 262, Attempted Sexual Assault by Penetration – wey dey punishable by 14 years imprisonment and

5. Section 263, Sexual Assault – wey dey punishable by 3 years imprisonment
